SJSU Presidential Search | SJSU Press Center

The California State University Board of Trustees has launched a nationwide search for the next president of San Jose State University.

In accordance with CSU policy, CSU Trustee Chair Lillian Kimbell has appointed a committee of trustees for the selection of the chair. The advisory committee is made up of faculty, staff, student, and alumni representatives, as well as a member of a campus advisory board, all of whom are selected by campus constituency groups based on their selection criteria. . The advisory board also includes a vice president or academic dean from the campus and a president from another CSU campus, both selected by the chancellor in consultation with the board chair. The two committees function as a unified group in the research process.
