Manchester United continue manager search with Ten Hag investigation

Rumors between Erik ten Hag and Manchester United are accelerating.

At the start of the week, the Daily mail released a report claiming Ten Hag is learning English in order to help him secure a move to the Premier League next season, with the Dutchman keen on a move to Old Trafford.

Ajax are said to be aware of Ten Hag’s wish to leave this summer.

Moreover, the Mail add that Ten Hag wants to bring Mitchell van Der Gaag to Old Trafford with him as his assistant.

Stretty News friend Jonathan Shrager, who is reliable when it comes to United news, says Ten Hag has been contacted by United with the club wanting to know about his situation.

Tonight he tweeted: “Ten Hag has been contacted by United to inquire about his situation.”

If Ten Hag is already taking English lessons, it’s clear he’ll be interested in the United job at the end of the season.

It makes sense for him to become the main candidate if the club fears that Mauricio Pochettino would rather replace Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid.
