Here are the top Google search terms of 2021 in India

As 2021 draws to a close, Google has revealed what the world has been looking for throughout this year amid the ongoing pandemic. As usual, Google highlighted the top search terms people in 70 countries used when they had no answers. The Mountain View giant recently revealed top searches for various categories, ranging from food, news, movies, TV shows, and people.

Google Year in Search 2021 revealed

Google, in its official blog post, mentioned that research on ‘how to cure’ has reached an all time high this year as people around the world searched for ways to stay strong amid the ongoing pandemic. The company also pointed out that people were looking for “how to honor someone” when they lost loved ones. Along with that, research “how to be yourself” and “what is my goal?” Is also reaching new heights.

When it comes to categories, Google shared a detailed report, featuring top searches across various categories. Globally, searches for Afghanistan, Dogecoin, Battlefield 2042, and Aryan Khan were on the lists among many others. In India, research “COVID vaccine near me” has overtaken research “COVID test near me”, suggesting that more people have been vaccinated in India this year.

Plus, since people stayed at home, searches for movies and TV shows showed the most popular across the world. While searches for “Squid Game” topped the category of TV shows, searches for “Eternals,” “Black Widow,” “Dune,” Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, ”and“ Red Notice ”have made their way into the movie category.
