‘Gorilla Glue girl’ Tessica Brown threatens to sue blogger: report
“Gorilla Glue girl” Tessica Brown seeks to stick with a popular blogger who claimed she lied about her cuff crisis – and is threatening legal action against her.
“It has recently come to our attention that you have made derogatory statements about Tessica to third parties via social media, alleging that she fabricated an unfortunate and traumatic incident,” states lawyer Jeffrey Klein’s letter posted by the site.
“Tessica’s situation was neither artificial nor a joke, and it is disappointing that you are trying to capitalize on her misfortune,” he continues. “The statements you have made are false, defamatory, and in our opinion, are made for the sole purpose of causing loss and damage to Tessica personally and professionally, for your own benefit.”
The letter from Fisher & Wolfe law firm in Beverly Hills also includes a link to the blogger’s Instagram account, where the writer posted that it is “sad what people do for money and 5 minutes if shame (sic) “.
The lawyer calls on the blogger to “cease and desist from making false and defamatory statements” and threatens to take legal action.
The blogger’s account reposted a video of another woman claiming to have sprayed Gorilla Glue into her own hair, trying to debunk Brown’s story, TMZ reported.
“Hello to that sister who truly deserves the money you all gave to this liar. #girlbye, ”the post said, according to the media outlet.
Gossip of the City acknowledged the legal missive in a separate article, calling it fake, according to TMZ, who said Brown’s team assured it was real.
Brown – who hired an agent amid all the publicity – raised nearly $ 24,000 to pay her medical bills, but said she would donate most of it to charity after a Beverly plastic surgeon Hills removed the industrial grade adhesive from her hair.
