Boxpark will open its first sister concept ‘BoxHall’ to offer food and drink from local and independent food vendors.

The new concept will launch in London in 2023 after Boxpark has entered into a 15-year lease with TfL, the site’s freehold owners.

BoxHall City will be an all-day social dining experience featuring food, drink and events under one roof.

The new site proposals include 16 kitchen units and two internal bars, subject to planning permission. The 17,000 square foot building includes a ground floor and a pre-existing small mezzanine with 266 indoor seats.

The new BoxHall site is part of Boxpark’s expansion plans following its recent announcement of the first BoxHall concept in Bristol.

BoxHall City will be the first of its kind in London with further locations to be announced later this year.

“We are delighted to sign this new BoxHall site with TfL in the heart of the city, where Boxpark was born 10 years ago,” said Boxpark founder and chief executive Roger Wade.

“Our team have worked extremely hard to secure the Met Arcade – a fantastic historic site built in Victorian times, originally the entrance to Liverpool Street Station. We are delighted to repurpose the building and move it into to be home to an upscale Food, Beer and Music Hall – BoxHall, while retaining its character and atmosphere.
