The NYPD is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the person seen in the attached video and photo who is wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting in Belmont, located in the 48th Arrondissement.
On Monday, November 8, at around 2:40 p.m., a 17-year-old man was crossing the street at the corner of Bathgate Avenue and East Fordham Road in Belmont, when an unidentified individual who was inside a blue Dodge Durango, shot at the victim once, hitting him in the left leg, following a verbal argument.
The suspect then fled east on East Fordham Road to unknown parts. The victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition. No other injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
The vehicle is described as a blue Dodge Durango. A photo and a surveillance video of the vehicle are attached.
